However, one important condition that students must follow while including their family is they must declare all family members. For example, if a student gets married after they apply for the visa they must update the visa department about all the changes in circumstances at their earliest. If someone fails to disclose their family then the visa department is free to refuse them visas.

What is the Criteria of Student Visa Eligibility?

- Students from overseas are required to have health insurance approved by OSHC for the entire time they are going to stay in Australia.
- Applicants must also provide proof of their insurance while applying. Otherwise their application can be turned down.
- Applying students must meet the financial criteria, which means the student must have enough money to cover the cost of their studies and living in Australia. The Visa Department sets a benchmark for cost of living every year. Students must study that benchmark before they apply.
- Applicants must be able to submit their health and character certificates along with their application.
